Due the comprehensive reconstruction of the museum, the permanent exhibition of the Old Gallery could also be reorganized according to a new, contemporary concept. A selection of nearly four hundred pieces allows the visitor to get an overall picture of universal trends and art center interactions, in addition to the specificities of each of the leading, style defining masters and schools. The paintings are complemented by sculptures, engravings and handicraft items.
