As part of the Liget Budapest Project, the National Consevation and Storage Centre (OMRRK) provides professional and infrastructural backdrop for the museums developed in the nearby City Park. Two renovated existing buildings of the former Bródy Adél Hospital houses the Central European Research Institute (KEMKI) for Art History, and the Visitor Centre, while the new specially designed main building offers underground storages for the majority of the largest Hungarian public collections. The upper storeys provides high quality workshops and working environment for the conservators of the Museum of Fine Arts, the Hungarian National Gallery, and the Museum of Ethnography. A public park opens around the buildings, and a part of the plaster cast collection of the Museum of Fine Arts becomes accessible in the main building.
